The only thing wrong with this bike is the ridiculous seat tube in the size XL frame. Absolutely nuts. This is not an XC bike, Radon. Fix it.

I wouldn't be surprised if Radon (or Bike Discount) will contact you to ask putting this video under Swoop description :) I own Slide trail 8 for over 3600km (almost 2years) - had only to replace DUB BB bearings (could be my fault, could be bad SRAM bearing). Replaced all frame bearings after over 3500km harsh condition riding (mud, rain, snow, bikeparks) - only one had issue, two were in poor condition, rest were good enough. One thing which annoys me a little - is MT5 rear brake. They are powerful brakes, but with loads of use (see above) I had to often do oil change or top up (if in Bikepark) as oil would turn dirty quite quickly if doing alpine riding. I like the bike and brand so much that I just ordered Swoop AL 9. Thanks for making this video and answering about the headset, need to check if 2024 model uses same headset. I was shopping around for about 2 months to see if anyone can come close to components vs price - no one come close enough to warrant a purchase.

did you service bearings, how they feel after a year, cuz i own canyon spectral:on for less than a year, and bearings eat dirt, and didn’t have any lube inside after 1k km. i was very surprised with this fact after owning cannondale for years.

I am sorry to ask not exactly about your riding (which is obviously epic! :) ), but I wanted to ask about your comment on one of previous videos. You mentioned some plastic peace in the headset or around the bearing. Would you be able to elaborate on that part? I am about to order Swoop 9 AL 2024 model and a bit worried/interested about that part. I won't be sending it as you do, but it's good to know what to look at for future.

Epic content :) Looks like I am going to avoid Chatel as my jumping is pretty much non existing. Can clear some small jumps, thats about it :) There is not much other trails apart jump lines there I assume? The two guys who usually rode at the back (one who went nose heavy beforehand) were barely making some jumps or were landing on rear wheel (almost manualing). I am just curious, do you give them some tips of camera about their 'near misses' or you guys just shred it further. Fair play to them to go with you everywhere, but I was holding my fingers crossed that crash is not gonna cost them dearly. Can I ask you few questions about the bike (I am about to order Swoop 9 AL): Did you use a frame protector wrap, if yes, which one? What was with the headset, did you have to replace bearing or just clean/regrease and retighten it?

Gerat video! For some months ago I´ve sold my Slide Trail 8.0. At the moment running the Giant Reign SX 2022 - an ultimate enduro race machine but I will back to Radon. The Swoop is much lighter (ca 15,5kg vs 17.5kg) and I am thinking about the Swoop 9.0 2024 (graylit/black). The only con´s is the place for the bottle - it´s really s***t! But, design, components, reviews... are just awesome! After 8 months still happy with the bike? Best from Austria! Drago

Contudo, no que respeita a Bike Parks, tenho 2 objectivos em mente que não morro sem cumprir...1- Leogang, Austria, guiar até lá com familia e parceiros deixar mulher e filha naquele fabuloso hotel com uma infinity pool com a melhor vista possivel das montanhas Austríacas e ir curtir TODOS aqueles trilhos e, claro...Canadá, Whistler!!!! Recuso-me a morrer enquanto não descer desde Top of The world até lá abaixo e tentar, pelo menos, todos os trilhos técnicos que não me queiram matar...Lol! Tu, aparentemente, nasceste para trilhos de flow com saltos. Diverte-te! E por favor...não caias, agora que já tens o pulso perfeito. Abraço desde Coimbra!

Are you riding Radon Swoop 9 AL? If I am not mistaken you have MT5 brakes? How do you find them in bikeparks? Does your oil get dirty after a day or two (like 3 - 6000m descending) I currently own Radon Trail Slide 8 and about to order Swoop 9 AL for bikeparks.

Obrigado Miguel! Muito decente da tua parte de me responderes. Fico descansado por não ter gasto uma "fortuna" nuns MT7 Pro ou nuns Sram Code Ultimate. Consegui arranjar uns Code RSC para a próxima "menina" que aí vem, que infelizmente não será outra Specialized, mas sim uma Propain Tyee CF. E esses Sram encontrei-os quase dados...E já mta gente encontrou melhor "mordida" com pastilhas Galfer em mts travões e tou a ver que não é mito urbano. Em todo o caso, aquela Stumpjumper, travões, pastilhas e discos tem 22 km de parque da cidade...Lol! Vou dar uma oportunidade a isto tudo de rolar e acamar e não trocar já de pastilhas senão o meu mecânico pensa que sou doidinho. E a minha Stumpjumper ía-te dar umas extrasistoles cardíacas...Como mta gente neste mundo tu és um rapaz que gosta do seu branco, do seu preto, nada de extravagâncias. Na minha o único componente que comprei todo negro( e eu comprei todas as peças daquela bicicleta até aos parafusos...) é o Dropper Syncros Duncan 1.5S. E vou voltar a comprar um de 180mm para a Propain - bom material. De resto, só tenho cor..Lol! E gostava imenso de te fazer uma visita aí em baixo. Deixa ver se convenço o "Deus" do XCO amador de Viseu, com quem tiraste uma foto em Vouzela, para irmos os 2 aí gastar algum pneu contigo. Temos é que lhe pedir para se conter porque o Tiaguinho Clamote, mesmo aos 44 anos ainda foi 5to este ano no Mountain Quest.
